EMPI 22-2886-0 Front Disc Brake Kit, VW Ball Joint, 4/130 . Here's the easy way to lower your VW Ball Joint front end 2-1/2" and add disc brakes at the same time.! Using the EMPI drop spindles, EMPI assembled a bolt-on kit that provides a dropped front end and a disc brake upgrade all in one package. These spindles feature a 1/4" outward offset. Clearance is usually not an issue but be sure to see if you adequate clearance. This kit includes standard 4/130 VW brake rotors for 4 bolt wheels. All necessary components are included; rotors, calipers, pads, wheel bearings, seals, and hardware. Note: The bearing races come uninstalled and must be pressed into the rotors and 66-68 cars will require updating outer tie-rod end to 69 and later style which is a simple swap.
